Hello Jan " paradox- " Duchoň. May you introduce yourself and talk about your gaming carrier?

Hello everybody, I'm 20 years old and im team leader of TCM-Gaming.CoD4.

You've joined the best teams in Europe, you've played with the best players and now a lot of people considers you like one of the legends of COD4. How these things effect your real and cyber life?

It's almost 4 years since i installed CoD4 and started my long term run. I've played few months vCoD and CoD2, but with the release of CoD4 everyone went to it and i kinda felt that i can achieve something in this game with right people around me. Being "legend" of CoD4 doesnt really affect my real life, for most of my friends and people around my job, its something what would they like to do in their free time aswell - playing PC games, actually they are doing it, but not on same level like us. It's something new for them, that we have tournaments around Europe and we can win some nice prizes.

Can you tell us which team was your best and in which team do you think you became like this? And can you explain us the time that you didnt become so good in COD4 and can we have some information about your team which you are in now?

I think that my current team is best team i've ever had, most people dont realize it, but this team formed more then 3 years ago. I wasn't really clan-hopping, i've tried to build my own team with people i trusted to. My first team was: me, king, beaster, repty and dreader. As u can see 3 core players (me, king and beaster) were together really long time, added mazarini and lubo after few months instead of dreader and repty which had to quit gaming because of school and other duties. Us 5 was playing together really long time aswell, achieved lot of lan and cup victories. From this pure-czech lineup, was formed czech-dutch mix later together with toxjee and froster, we were doing really great and won biggest CoD4 event so far - AEF 2010. Unfortunately we had to change king for germaine few weeks ago, because he king couldnt continue in active gaming due to job and girlfriend.

You've been in a lot of offline(LAN) tournaments like Antwerp eSports Festival and so on. Which victory that you had was the most important to you?

I think that Antwerp eSports Festival was mine (our) biggest achievement ever. I placed TOP3 on almost 30 lans in CoD4 so far, but this winning on AEF was different. Amount of teams there was just amazing and i cant really compare this lan to any other.

A lot of your fans have heard you by your amazing performances in eSuba.COD4 and the victories that you had in eSuba.COD4. Can you tell us why did you and your teammates left eSuba?

Well, this is long story. Teams like eSuba are fine for upcoming teams, but our goal was going for top places in Europe and eSuba couldnt afford sending us to LAN's, lets say every month, so we had to look for another organisation, which would support us properly. We have find ourselves in PowerGaming and i think we did represent them pretty good in almost 2 years we've played under their tag.

You are in TCM Gaming which is one of the best teams in Europe now. How do you see your friendship in the team?

TCM-Gaming are professionals. I didnt feel so comfortable with my management like i do now, its just different from all other teams. They are really great team!

Which activities you are going to join with TCM Gaming?

If we talk about LAN's, we are planning i-series, adroits and 2 czech event's this year and also me and germaine will be on London International Technology Show next weekend, so people can play versus us there and win some prizes!

The teams in Europe have at least three sponsors like Steel Series, AMD and MSI but in Turkey teams are having a famine of sponsor. What can you say to increase the sponsors to this gaming section?

I don't know much about situation in Turkey, but problem might be in players. I know that it is pretty expensive for turkish team - attending european event, but when you ask for support, you have to offer something to your sponsors, you cant just ask for money. People should think about it first and fact is, that you have to get results first and then you can prove someone, that you deserve his support. So unfortunately, turkish teams will have to go to proper event first, pay it from their own pockets. If they achieve good result, they might have chance to get good sponsor.

Why do you play with sniper? Have you got a special reason?

I wasn't playing with scope at start of CoD4, but sometimes my ex-teammate bRody dropped it and when i took it, i was doing pretty good. After few matches i decided that i will continue with scope, he teached me some stuff and spots and there you go, my Scope career started.

Who is your favorite player in COD4? Do you know any young and skilled players?

Luboshmir, no doubt! About young and skilled players, i can't really say anything about upcoming players outside Czech Republic, because i don't know them, but we have few young and talented players in Czech Rep. like sexaz (eSuba) and cDe (Authority-Gaming).

What can you say to teams and players in Turkey to have a nice carrier especially to HWA and Protective?

HWA and Protective are both nice teams, theres lot of accusations about cheats, but i think that Turkish players just got their own style, which is kinda different from our, European. It's more agressive and faster, so some teams might have problems with them, especially in prize-cups ":D". Hopefully they will find proper support and we will meet on some European event.
